UltraVision CLPL attempt fastest golf round in aid of RNIBOn Sunday 19th June, a golf team from UltraVision CLPL will attempt to break the world record for the fastest medal round of golf by a 4-man team, at the Northumberland World Record Golf Challenge. The team (pictured, left to right: Russell Hayhoe, Simon Crowder, John Lyon and Andy Crawford) has been practising diligently for this event.

The current record for the round of golf is 1 hour 32 minutes. In its practice sessions, the UltraVision CLPL team has beaten this record by 10 minutes and is hoping to beat the current world record on the day. There is a second world record attempt on the same day in which all the teams hope to achieve the greatest number of golfers to complete a course in 24 hours.

'This is a marvellous event, in which we feel quietly confident that we have a good chance of beating the world record', says John Lyon, Group Sales Manager, UltraVision CLPL, 'and through the event we hope to raise a lot of money for the this very deserving charity'

As well as being a record beating challenge, all of the proceeds from the Ultravision CLPL team will be going to the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).
